Yellow Weather Warning Impacts Local Markets

Due to a yellow weather warning issued by the Met Office for strong gusts on Saturday afternoon into the evening, several markets in the area have been affected. We would like to provide you with an update on the changes to the market schedules as a result.

We are continuing to monitor the forecast and will update this page if/when needed. 

• Warwick Market Usually open until 3pm on Saturdays, will close earlier than usual at 1pm on Saturday 9th December.   
• Rugby Market Usually open until 4pm on Saturdays, may close earlier than usual Saturday 9th December.   
• Kingsbury Water Park Christmas Market This market was scheduled over the weekend, has been cancelled due to the expected adverse weather conditions. Leaving stalls up in these wind speeds could cause considerable damage.

These precautionary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of both the traders and visitors amidst the potentially hazardous weather conditions.

• Leamington Christmas Market This market will proceed as planned on Sunday, as wind speeds reduce dramatically by Sunday.
