Warwick Castle has an exciting new addition to its Christmas offering for 2020 with its first ever festive Winter Market, free to visit and open to all - not just Castle ticket-holders. Open daily between 5th December 2020 - 3rd January 2021 from 10am to 8pm, the Winter Market is the perfect opportunity to buy local this Christmas, in spectacular surroundings.
Located along the iconic East Front of the Castle, independent stall-holders from Warwickshire and the surrounding area will be offering a wide range of seasonal best-sellers including craft beer, artisan gin, handcrafted jewellery, homewares, gifts and plants.
The outdoor Winter Market provides a safety-conscious solution to Christmas shopping, with contactless payments, one-way systems and additional hygiene measures in place.
For those looking to combine a spot of shopping with a day out at the Castle, there are plenty of other festive attractions on offer, from spectacular decorations to yuletide stories with some help from Santa and his elves. Wrap up warm and step on to the Castle's Ice Rink (back by popular demand), or follow the new magical Light Trail to explore the Castle and its grounds. The illuminated walk winds its way around the beautiful grounds and gardens telling a Christmas story of hope.
Inside, discover the grand Great Hall and State Rooms in their full festive splendour including a 20-foot Christmas tree, and learn about Christmasses past on a guided tour with one of the Castle's historical experts. To truly raise Christmas spirits, stay the 'knight' for a Santa's Sleepover* at the Castle, including a special wake-up call from Santa.
