Storm Austen - Market Updates
We're keeping a close eye on Storm Austen, which is forecast to bring strong winds on Friday, followed by further unsettled weather on Saturday and Sunday.
- Rugby Market on Friday 23rd October has been cancelled
We'll continue to monitor the forecast and decide on Friday whether our Saturday and Sunday markets can go ahead. We're hoping wind speeds will ease to a safer, more manageable level.
Safety must come first. We understand that cancellations can have a real impact on small businesses, and we do everything we can to avoid them. However, strong winds can make it unsafe for traders, their stalls and their stock.
If you're planning to visit Rugby Market on Saturday or Leamington Market on Sunday, please keep an eye on our social media channels.
We'll share updates as soon as we've made a decision.
