Tis' the season to support local in Warwick

The late-night market has launched. Taking place in Market Square, the market will open from 2pm until 7pm every Wednesday until December 22 for late-night Christmas shopping.

Complimentary mulled wine and mince pies will also be served, from 5pm to 6pm, to shoppers who make a purchase from one of the market's retail stalls on the night.

Many local shops around the town will also be taking part and keeping their doors open longer, and visitors are encouraged to come along and support the town during the festive period.

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: 'We look forward to hosting the Wednesday markets to support local, independent shops. Last Christmas was a very challenging year, and this year we're all able to go out & about as normal.'

'Warwick has a wonderful independent shopping experience, and that includes the many unique, small, independent shops & stalls.'
