Tastebuds tingling as Warwick Food Festival returns

FOODIES are preparing for the return of Warwick Food Festival.

The event, which will be held in the Market Square and surrounding streets, returns on Sunday August 1 having been postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic.

Visitors can expect around 60 traders, including local restaurants, showcasing food and drink producers from across the region. There will also be plenty of musical entertainment.

Jamie Walker, of organiser CJ's Events Warwickshire, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting our first food festival since 2019. All of our festivals were cancelled last year and most of this year due to the pandemic, but we're excited to be returning with Warwick Food Festival.

"While it'll be different and slightly smaller than previous years, we've got a great line up of food, drink and entertainment. I'd like to say a massive thank you to our team and departments across Warwick District Council who have worked hard to ensure this event can take place safely."

To ensure the event is Covid-safe, sanitising stations will be available.
