Road Closures for Kenilworth Carnival

Kenilworth Carnival raises funds for local charities while bringing the town together to share in a day of family fun. It's one of the main highlights on the town calendar and one of only a handful of carnivals still in existence. Kenilworth Carnival features a street procession with floats, walkers and marching bands, led by the Carnival Queen and her attendants. The Procession will leave Forrest Road at 13:00hrs and is followed by entertainment, stalls and a funfair in Abbey Fields. The Procession will leave Forrest Road, making its way onto Castle Road, Castle Hill, High Street, Bridge Street, Rosemary Hill, Priory Road, Waverley Road, Warwick Road, St Johns Street, Roseland Road, St Nicholas Avenue, Randall Road, Warwick Road, The Square & will finally end at Abbey End. CJ's Events Warwickshire Limited are proposing to close of a number of Streets in Kenilworth on Saturday 29th June 2018, between 12:00hrs & 15:30hrs. There will be one Hard Road Closures on Forrest Road where the procession will gather in the morning, this will be in place from 07:00hrs until 15:30hrs. Rolling Road Closures will be in place to ensure Kenilworth Town can keep moving as quickly & safely as possible, however anyone who uses Kenilworth to access other towns or surrounding villages are encouraged to avoid the town between the above times.
