Pop up French market at Warwick market on Saturday October 3
Come and say Bonjour Saturday October 3 to a group of French traders, resident in the UK, who will be setting up stall all day alongside Warwick market in the market square to showcase a veritable tour de France of products.

There will be delicious cheese and charcuterie from all the French regions, the new harvest of onions and garlic from Brittany, irresistible crêpes and galettes (savoury buckwheat crêpes) from Normandy, fragrant lavender and Marseille soap from Provence, art prints and café music from Paris, gifts galore and much more beside.

One trader of particular interest is Pascal, the last of the "Onion Johnnies", the traders from Brittany that sold onions door to door on their bicycles in bygone days. His stall features much information about their fascinating history, and he is always keen to tell you more! Find Pascal online at pascalonions.pagesperso-orange.fr

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: 'We're pleased to welcome France at Home to Warwick market for another year under a slightly different format. Our market remains COVID secure and our safety measures will remain in place as usual. We have worked closely to ensure we can accommodate the traders without compromising public safety. The traders attending are based within the UK and France at Home and our Management Team continue to follow the latest Government advice and are working with Warwick District Council to deliver a safe and enjoyable experience. I would like to remind anyone planning to visit to use hand sanitiser on entry, card payments wherever possible and to keep their distance to others.'
