CJ's Events Warwickshire are not taking over Nuneaton Market

CJ's Events Warwickshire would like to clarify that they are not taking over Nuneaton Market, despite several rumours circulating, and an increase in enquires to them direct regarding this matter.

They would also like to echo Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council's statement issued last week.

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: 'This market is not open to tender, and we, nor do the council have the power to enter into contracts outside of competitive procurement procedures. We would like to make it clear that no conversations or agreements have been made with us to take over the market.'

He added: 'If the council decides the market should go out to tender, we would have to submit a comprehensive proposal inline with the councils procurement procedure, along with other Market Operators who would be interested in running the market. Even then, there would be no guarantee we would be successful. By issuing this statement we hope to clarify our position on this rumour.'
