Join the team behind some of Warwickshire's busiest markets and events!

At CJ's Events Warwickshire, we're a family-run business passionate about creating vibrant markets, festivals, and community events across Warwickshire and beyond. From bustling town centre markets to large-scale public events, we're proud to bring people together and create memorable experiences.

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking, and energetic individual to join our Events Operations Team. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a close-knit team, and seeing events come to life, this could be the perfect role for you.

Hours of Work

  • Typical working days are Friday afternoons, Saturday mornings and evenings, and Sunday mornings and evenings (hours vary week to week).

  • Please email hr@cjseventswarwickshire.co.uk to request a copy of the current work schedule and typical hours.

  • Overtime opportunities are regularly available.

About the Role

No two days are quite the same. You'll play a key role in delivering markets and events by transporting equipment, setting up event infrastructure, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

This is a hands-on, physically active role that offers a great alternative to being stuck behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely tow and transport trailers to and from market locations
  • Carry out vehicle and trailer safety checks
  • Load and prepare equipment for events and markets
  • Erect and dismantle market stalls efficiently and safely
  • Set out stalls in accordance with site plans
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment
  • Help maintain clean, organised, and professional event sites

What You'll Get

  • Company pension scheme
  • Free on-site parking
  • EAP
  • Regular overtime opportunities
  • Work as part of a friendly family-run business
  • Be involved in a wide variety of markets, festivals, and community events
  • Active outdoor work

If you enjoy practical work, take pride in creating great events, and want to be part of a growing events business, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
  • Previous experience in a practical, outdoor, or labouring role
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours when required
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Trailer towing experience desirable, but training may be provided for the right candidate
