As one of our Events team, you will play a key part in enhancing the customer experience for event days. Our event staff work hard providing a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff, whilst maintaining extremely high levels of customer service.
Roles can include:
Manning road closure points
Checking in traders for events
Applicant must be 18 years of age or over.
Applicants must be able to drive to and from events, without relying on public transport.
Welcoming visitors at the event in a polite and enthusiastic manner.
Addressing any visitor's queries or complaints in a polite and enthusiastic manner.
Respond proactively to any access needs of visitors.
Crowd management and support.
To be fully conversant with all venue emergency and evacuation procedures and willing to assist all evacuations of the event while on duty.
Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others in line with the Health & Safety policy.
Provide assistance and support to the emergency services in the event of a major incident.
High personal presentation standards.
Excellent communication skills, including fluent, spoken English.
A proactive and positive attitude.
Significant experience in a customer-facing role with the ability to deal with challenging situations.
Availability and flexibility to work weekends and sometimes early starts or late finishes.
